Responsibilities

• Maintain an upbeat, friendly and congenial personality while greeting, interacting and transporting guests to their destination
• Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed properly

Skills

• A BC Class 1, 2 or 4 Unrestricted driver’s license w/clean abstract (We will train for a class 2 license for the right candidates)

Reservation Agent

Summary

As a Reservations Agent you are the first point of contact for guests planning their stay in Revelstoke and beyond. The role’s main responsibility is to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner over the phone, by email and in-person whilst providing impeccable customer service.

Responsibilities

• Promptly answering phone calls, emails, and in person inquiries.
• Providing excellent customer service to guests and wholesalers.
• Building creative solutions in response to customer requirements.
• Utilizing sales skills to upsell products.
• Processing bookings and maintaining clear and concise records.
• Following company policies, guidelines and work instructions.
• Working closely with the operations team.
• Preparing and printing season bus passes.
• Completing cash out duties.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.

Skills

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on handling multiple tasks at the same time.
• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Attention to detail and a strong customer service focus are essential.

Dispatcher

Revelstoke Transfers, getting you where you need to go! We operate Airport Shuttles, Private Transfers, Mountain Bike Shuttles and Resort Shuttles.

Summary

As a Dispatcher you spend much of your day looking at schedules. You determine when the buses should leave the station, and you make sure that the bus stays on course during the journey, and that any problems are handled quickly and efficiently.

If a Driver is ill and can’t work, you’re the one they call, and you’ll need to find a replacement. You make sure that each Driver is wearing the proper uniform for work and the buses are clean and ready for the passengers.

If a Driver has a problem on the route, such as a mechanical failure or a road closure, they call you for advice. You determine an alternate route, send another bus to pick up the passengers, or call a crew to make repairs.

Being a Bus Dispatcher is much like being an Air Traffic Controller. You’re in charge of departures and arrivals, and you solve problems when they occur. You know you’re doing your job well when your work goes unnoticed, and your passengers have smooth, forgettable trips.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling of drivers

• Observe DriveBC for events affecting routes
• Assist drivers in their duties (contacting passengers, etc)
• Work closely with our reservations department

• Monitor vehicle log book entries and ensure each vehicle is maintained as per legal and contracted requirements
• Ensure log books, fuel receipts and invoices are collated
• Keep internal knowledge base updated with latest procedures
• Complete cash out duties
• Follow company policies, guidelines and work instructions
• Be knowledgeable in local activities and products

Skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task
  Strong problem solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of Mac, Google Docs, Word, and Excel
• Previous experience in a dispatch role an asset
