Originally from London, Ontario, John was drawn to Revelstoke by the mountains, outdoor lifestyle, and strong sense of community. Like many who arrive for the scenery, he quickly discovered there was much more to love about Revelstoke and has proudly made it home.
Outside the office, John enjoys making the most of everything the region has to offer. Whether he’s trail running, hiking, skiing, or spending time outdoors with his family and dogs, he embraces the active lifestyle that makes Revelstoke such a remarkable place to live. His ideal day off includes fresh mountain air, a home-cooked meal, and relaxing by the fire after a day of adventure. Sometimes he can even be found scrambling up Mount Begbie – a local feat not for the faint of heart…have you heard of the ledge?!
Before joining Revelstoke Transfers, John built a successful career in operations and financial management within the construction consulting industry. Drawing on his strong accounting, financial planning, and operational leadership experience, he helps provide the strategic insight and financial oversight that support the company’s continued growth. Known for his approachable nature and people-first mindset, John takes pride in building trust and giving business owners confidence in their decisions.
As CFO (Chief Financial Office or Company Friend on Call), John oversees the financial health and long-term sustainability of Revelstoke Transfers while supporting operational success across the organization. He is constantly looking for ways to improve the guest experience, create new opportunities for growth, and strengthen transportation services for both residents and visitors.
